If Teddy had a job, he would be a high-level security guard for someone like Elizabeth Warren. When he senses something is off, he goes full alert mode — scanning, assessing, ready to protect. But honestly? One gentle shake of that magnificent black lion mane and any nefarious intent would simply melt away. Beauty and vigilance. A powerful combination.

What food would Teddy sell his soul for?

A meaty cow bone. Preferably enhanced with peanut butter and mozzarella. When presented with one, his eyes go wide… and slightly roll back like a shark. It’s hilarious. And mildly terrifying.

If Teddy were arrested, what would the crime be?

Breaking into a pet store to steal the most expensive, gourmet treats available. The prosecution’s case would immediately collapse — no jury could put something that fluffy behind bars. One flash of that big pink tongue against his hairy black face and it’s over. Acquitted on cuteness.

What is Teddy’s perfect date?

Teddy is a group-activity guy. He’d start with an outdoor adventure at Sit Down & Beyond, then bring his date home to meet the family (because he is very proud of his people). He’d intend to generously offer treats first… but would likely gobble them before remembering to share. After some affection-sharing and social time, the evening would end cuddled up by the fireplace while the humans try not to cry over how absurdly cute they are.

What song represents Teddy’s vibe?

“What It Sounds Like” from the KPop Demon Hunters movie. There are serious things happening in that canine brain. When Teddy feels safe and connected, his true self shines. We suspect he had some hard things early in life — but they don’t define the kick-ass dog he is today. We’ve been lucky to watch him grow.

Fun fact: THEBLACKLABEL helped produce songs for the film. One of the founders? TEDDY Park. Obviously iconic.

Favorite Things About Teddy

Addie (big sister): He is really, really soft and very good with kids.Eleanor (big sister): When I scratch his front leg and he stretches it out onto my shoulder. He’s like a big black marshmallow. Mom: I love how much better he’s gotten with our cats. No chasing — they can be in the same room peacefully. Dad: He makes me laugh every day. He’s cuddly, has an old soul, and loves when his whole pack is together. We couldn’t imagine our nutty life without him.
