Sit Down & Beyond Presents: 4th of July Camping Trip for Dogs 2026
Have your dogs join us this Independence Day (or should we say Dogpendence Day?) for a 4th of July dog-only camping trip with the experts at Sit Down & Beyond. We’ll take your pup on a 3-day, 4-night adventure boarding experience, with everything included at a rate comparable to a luxury board and train experience.

Cost?
$250 per day × 4 days, totaling $1,000 for the full trip. This all-inclusive rate covers your dog’s 4-day, 3-night camping and adventure experience.
Who?
Dogs will be accompanied by your favorite dog trainers Shuli & Jaden.
When?
The 4th of July Camping Trip for Dogs will take place over 4 days and three nights from July 3rd to July 6th, 2026.
Where?
We’ll be camping in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in Northern Washington!

Only 4 spots are available for this trip. If it fills up, we’ll add you to the waitlist, and if demand is high, we’ll open additional spots with another trainer.
Requirements
To be eligible for our 4th of July Dogpendence Day getaway, your pup must:

Be a part of our Experts Only program

Be trail-ready with proven off-leash reliability

Be well-socialized with both dogs and people

Demonstrate strong recall and handler engagement

Be physically fit and capable of multi-day hiking

Be up to date on vaccinations and in good health

What’s Included?
This all-inclusive, expert-led backpacking trip is designed for experienced, trail-ready dogs. Here’s what your pup can expect:

Round-trip transport: We will bring your dog home, but on the morning of the trip, we don't want to be driving around town, so there will be 2 drop-off locations

Professional handling: Dogs are accompanied the entire trip by experienced trainers

Backpacking adventure: 3 nights / 4 days on-trail (July 3–6), with the final day focused on travel and drop-offs.

Gear oversight: We manage all dog gear, packing, and trail readiness.

Top of the line gear: We’ll gear your dog up for the trip, and they’ll get to keep it for future adventures, because this probably won’t be their last one!

Food carrying: Your dog’s food is packed and carried throughout the trip.

Safety-first tracking: Garmin GPS tracking collars used for constant monitoring.

Structured trail experience: Planned mileage, balanced workload, and proper rest periods.
